The Kids Run is on the move! (11/4/2011)
The Children's Hospital at Providence Kids 2K will now be held on Saturday, the
18th of August, at the Park Strip downtown. The new time and location will allow
the event to accomodate the increasing number of young runners and the festivities.
More information will be available in the near future.
Expansion of Expo. (11/4/2011)
The race committee is excited to announce that this year there will be a two-day
expo. Our enthusiatic Expo Coordinators, Donna Freeman and Colleen Newgaard, are
busy signing up an expanded list of vendors. We will have more details very
soon.
Galloway is Returning (11/4/2011)
Jeff Galloway, former Olympian and famous for his run/walk marathon technique will
be coming back to the BWLR for the third year. Jeff describes the BWLR as "the best
marathon to run in August!" He will be holding a 3-hour training clinic the Saturday
preceding the runs. The cost is only $99. Stay tuned for details on how to sign
up.
