Snow City Cafe 5K
This 5K race course (approximately 3.1 miles) is an out-and-back route starting
in downtown Anchorage and out onto the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. In 2011, 733
runners crossed the 5K finish line. Participants receive a long-sleeve technical
shirt and a finisher medal. The event is professionally timed. The race starts at
9:30 a.m
Start/Finish Area
The 5K starts and finishes in downtown Anchorage near Town Square and the Alaska
Center for the Performing Arts.
Awards
Top three male and female finishers in each age group (five years deep) receive
awards. Award ceremonies are held in Town Square.
USATF Certification
The Big Wild Life Runs 5K course is USATF certified.

Course Directions
For 2012 we have changed back to the course that was used in 2009 and earlier. We
