The Anchorage Running Club presents the 2009 Big Wild Life Runs . . .

Alaska Museum of Natural History Run For Your Life Kids' Run

Welcome to Big Wild Life Runs, the Anchorage Running Club's premier event of the year! This year’s Big Wild Life Runs will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2009. The money raised from this event supports the Club’s mission to promote healthy lifestyles through running and walking. There were more than 1,800 participants last year.

Join us for this year’s event and let’s make 2009 a fun and fantastic year for the Anchorage Running Club’s Big Wild Life Runs. Remember to register on or before April 30, 2009, to guarantee your t-shirt size selection. Even though registration fees increase on May 1, the Anchorage Running Club’s Big Wild Life Runs are still priced well below outside races for similar distances. Your entry ensures a quality long-sleeve, technical shirt; coupons at local stores; chip timing; marathon and half marathon finisher medals; downtown street closure for over eight hours, awards; and much more!
