All events start and finish on Sixth Avenue next to the Performing Arts Center. (view map) The races are conducted almost entirely on paved bicycle trails with a dirt path to the side for those who prefer a softer ride. Our participants encounter only one mile of road (the first half-mile outbound and the last half-mile inbound), and then never have to worry about crossing streets or competing with cars, and there is plenty of beautiful scenery to simulate the senses as the course takes you through wooded vistas and alongside historic Cook Inlet.
